In this Agile4Hardware training we deal with the application of Scrum in the area of complex physical product development. Trainer

Dr. Jörk Hebenstreit has set up his consulting firm to take the next step in the development of this industry by combining the advantages of classical strategy and management consulting with innovative approaches and agile ways of working. He studied and obtained his PhD in physics in Jena and Wroclaw, and subsequently he worked in various management positions in an international technology company. In his last position he was Vice President in the company and responsible for one of the major business units. In 2006 he switched perpectives to become partner in a strategy consultancy. Since than, he has been a member of various boards of directors and he gave lectures on technological and agile topics at the Furtwangen University. Since 2016, Jörk has been active in consulting again and since then, he has been responsible for numerous agile projects in various industries. In addition to his work as a consultant, Jörk is a highly qualified representative of the international Scrum Community in his position as a Certified Scrum Professional. He has been involved in the development of the German economy together with other representatives from top management, as part of the Baden-Baden Unternehmergespräche e.V.

Co-Trainer

Dagmar Hebenstreit is co-founder and shareholder of AGILEUS Consulting and has several years of experience in general management and strategy consulting. As a Certified Scrum Professional, paired with Scrum Master and Product Owner certifications, she has both a broad technical as well as methodological background. She studied media economics, intercultural business communication and business administration, supported with a minor degree in human sciences.

After successfully completing the Agile4Hardware course, the participants recieve a certificate by the Scrum Academy®.

For the preparation of the training, we ask the participants to prepare the current challenges and questions they have and to bring them with them. In our Group Coaching on Day 3, some participants will have the opportunity to present their current project to the group and receive first-hand feedback. This is based on the Las Vegas motto "what is discussed in the training, stays in training!"

The application of Scrum and other agile methods have been successfully applied in software development for decades. However, the principles of Scrum can not be applied to the development of complex physical products without any adaption needed. As part of the Agile4Hardware training participants will learn how to deal with the challenges and possibilites of Agile4Hardware.
